Your Tasks
Technical leadership and operational control of all production activities in the Slitting & Cords area with the aim of ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality processes. You are the key technical figure in the area and support the department in achieving production goals. You will coordinate resources and provide technical leadership to the shift teams to ensure their optimal use and continuous development.
Operational management of the "Slitting & Cords" area, as well as ensuring a smooth production process
Technical leadership and support of the shift teams, including coaching and knowledge transfer
Planning and coordination of resources (shift staffing, vacation planning, technician deployment)
Monitoring of product quality and compliance with occupational safety regulations
Analysis of deviations and implementation of preventive and corrective measures
Participation in the optimization of processes and continuous improvement projects
Support in the introduction of new technologies and investment projects
Ensuring correct time and attendance recording within your area of responsibility
Your Profile
Completed technical basic training with a Federal Certificate of Proficiency (EFZ) (e.g., plant operator, production mechanic, or comparable)
Further training as a process specialist or equivalent qualification is an advantage
Several years of professional experience in production
Initial leadership experience or willingness to take on a leadership role
Good technical knowledge in handling machines and equipment
Structured way of working, quick comprehension, and organizational talent
Strong communication skills and team orientation
Proficient in using ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MS Office
Very good German language skills, English skills are an advantage
