Workplace Safety & Health Officer (Construction Industry)

Responsibilities: Assist in developing and implementing workplace safety and health policies and procedures. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Provide safety training and orientation to employees. Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports. Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures. Collaborate with management and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and health. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry associations, and community groups. Provide expert advice and guidance on workplace safety and health matters. Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of the role.
