Job description
As a working student in Packaging Specifications, you will be a central part of our Packaging team, actively supporting the transfer of our customers' packaging data into our self-developed, AI-powered software solution Packa. This is not just about structure and quality – you will also help to close data gaps that are crucial for digital ESG analyses, sustainability goals, and regulatory requirements such as the PPWR. You will specifically contribute your packaging know-how, build complex data structures meaningfully, and identify where our software can become even smarter. This way, you will connect theory with practice, develop a deep understanding of modern packaging processes – and make a real contribution to the digitalization and sustainability of the industry. Your Tasks You will independently structure and maintain packaging specifications in our software with quality assurance – focusing on regulatorily relevant data points (e.g., for PPWR, recycled content, material origin) You will support customers in pursuing data-based sustainability goals and help them make digital packaging data usable for ESG reporting and compliance You will work closely with our product team, provide valuable feedback from application, and actively contribute to the further development of our software You will occasionally research regulatory developments or technical trends (e.g., PPWR, EUDR) and translate them into concrete requirements for Packa You will work flexibly according to your schedule – from home office or in our Berlin office, depending on what suits you – always in close coordination with our Onboarding & Packaging team Your Experience & Personality Ideally, you have already completed a Bachelor's degree; alternatively, you have at least 2 years of study experience in packaging technology You work efficiently, but with an eye for detail You are able to structure yourself very well without much guidance Good communication skills (in German and English) Ownership: You are part of a highly motivated, diverse, and cross-functional Packaging team and have a high degree of freedom and responsibility from the start Impact: Join the team early, help shape our products, and work with an exceptional team!
