Do you want to gain valuable practical experience during your studies and actively shape the IT infrastructure of a modern company? As a Working Student IT System Administration (all genders), you will ensure that our networks, hardware, and software function smoothly. You will support our team in Cologne in maintaining and further developing our systems and will be the first point of contact for IT questions. You will have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and take on responsibility.

With these tasks, you will contribute to success

• You will maintain, update, and manage our hardware and software as well as our networks.
• You will set up and configure user accounts, workstations, and mobile devices.
• You will be the first point of contact in first-level support for colleagues with IT questions, troubleshooting, and technical disruptions.
• You will install updates and patches and integrate new hardware to ensure our systems are always up-to-date.
• You will maintain and update our IT documentation and processes.
• You will support the planning and implementation of IT projects, such as the introduction of new tools or system optimizations.
• You will keep an eye on our IT systems and identify optimization potential.
• You will contribute to the further development of our security standards in the IT infrastructure.

This is what you should bring

• You are an enrolled student in IT, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study and can support us with 20 hours per week in our Cologne office.
• Ideally, you have initial experience in IT administration or network technology.
• You have basic knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
• You think analytically, approach problems in a solution-oriented manner, and can communicate technical issues clearly.
• You work in a structured, self-responsible manner and have organizational talent.
• You have very good written and spoken German and English skills.
