Working Student Data & Analytics - Focus on Data Engineering (all genders)

As a member of the Team Data & Analytics, you will help scale our Data Warehouse and make data the heartbeat of clockin. You will lay the foundation for our Data-First Culture and enable smart decisions. Shape our future now!

Your Tasks

• You design as part of our growing team the setup of our modern data infrastructure and bring in your own ideas.

• In close exchange with departmental teams, you take on requirements and transform them into Gold-Layer tables for direct, smart analyses.

• You optimize ETL pipelines and continuously connect new data sources with your team colleagues.

• You develop the semantic data basis independently to enable queries via natural language using Agentic AI.

• Together with the Team Data & Analytics, you ensure through clean documentation and tests the quality of our KI-supported systems.

You bring

• You are currently studying computer science, mathematics, physics or a comparable field.

• Fundamental knowledge in Python and first practical experiences with PySpark distinguish you.

• A secure handling of SQL and Git forms the basis of your daily work.

• Idealistically, you already have experience using KI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.

• Analytical thinking and a structured working style help you solve complex problems.

• A strong interest in data modeling drives your development forward.

• You convince as a solution-oriented team player with a high degree of caution and self-responsibility.
