This role is essential to making that happen—by leading rostering and workforce planning so our clinics operate smoothly for the communities we serve.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Workforce Rostering Administrator to support the effective management of our workforce rosters. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, real-time staffing information across multiple systems while maintaining high-quality long-term master rosters and leave applications.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys working with data, and communicates confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update workforce rosters in real time across multiple systems
  • Manage and maintain long-term master rosters, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Perform high-volume, high-accuracy data entry and validation
  • Monitor changes such as leave, shift swaps, and unplanned absences
  • Ensure roster data aligns across systems and resolve discrepancies promptly
  • Communicate roster changes clearly with clinicians, managers, and operational teams
  • Support workforce planning by providing accurate and timely roster information

About You

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy
  • Proven experience in data entry, administration, or rostering roles
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, filtering, pivot tables preferred)
  • Comfortable managing data in real time across multiple systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised, reliable, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, operational environment

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience with workforce rostering or scheduling systems
  • Experience in healthcare or 24/7 operational environments
  • Understanding of fatigue and workforce compliance rules

Why Join Tāmaki Health?

  • Lead a high-performing team in an organisation that makes a real difference every day.
  • Enjoy a supportive, collaborative work environment focused on continuous improvement.
  • Competitive salary and full-time stability.
  • Be part of an organisation committed to cultural respect, health equity, and teamwork.
