Workday Finance Functional Consultant

Role Purpose We are looking for a CA-qualified Workday Finance Functional Consultant with proven experience in end-to-end Workday Financials implementations . This role focuses on functional ownership , business alignment, and solution design across Workday Finance modules, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality financial transformations. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end functional activities for Workday Financials implementations, from requirements gathering to testing and deployment. Provide functional expertise and guidance on Workday Finance modules including but not limited to: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking and Settlement, Fixed Assets, and Procurement. Collaborate with business users to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate them into effective Workday solutions. Design and configure Workday Financials modules to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices. Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, and testing scripts. Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution. Support data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Provide training and support to end-users. Stay up-to-date with Workday releases, new features, and functionalities. Collaborate with other consultants and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery. Key Skills and Experience CA Qualified or equivalent financial qualification. Proven experience in Workday Financials implementations (minimum 3 full lifecycle implementations). In-depth knowledge of Workday Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking and Settlement, Fixed Assets, and Procurement. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to translate business requirements into effective Workday solutions. Experience in designing and configuring Workday Financials modules. Experience in data migration, testing, and training.
