WordPress Technician (m/w/d)

We are an established agency for online marketing based in Leer, supporting over 200 small and medium-sized enterprises in East Frisia, the Emsland region, and nationwide – with a clear structure, modern tools, and a strong team spirit. We believe in solution-oriented work, good communication, and a clean technical implementation.

We are looking for a new colleague who is technically skilled and has extensive experience with WordPress.

The job can be performed on-site in Leer/East Frisia or from home office.

Tasks

• Technical WordPress support for existing and new customer websites
• Websites maintenance (backups, updates, security) and performance optimization
• Implementation of smaller adjustments in themes & plugins
• Support for setting up and maintaining online shops
• Support for SEO techniques and/or tracking
• Clearing technical questions with customers as well as colleagues
• Collaboration on various projects within the team

Qualification

• In-depth experience with WordPress – whether through personal projects, freelance work or previous jobs
• Outstanding technical understanding, e.g., for hosting, themes, plugins and page builder (Elementor)
• Ideal would be touchpoints with E-commerce (WooCommerce, Shopify and/or Shopware)
• Ideal would be experience in tracking (Google Tag Manager, server-side tracking)
• Very good knowledge of the German language
