About the Position As a WordPress Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the technical leadership and overall success of our WordPress projects. You will work closely with our project managers, designers, and developers to ensure that our WordPress projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. What You'll Do * Technical leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the WordPress development team. * Project planning: Participate in project planning, estimation, and scoping. * Technical design: Design and architect WordPress solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. * Code reviews: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices. * Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. * Client communication: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical updates. * Mentoring: Mentor junior developers and share your knowledge and expertise. * Stay up-to-date: Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress technologies and trends. * Contribute to internal process improvements What You'll Need * 8+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on WordPress. * Experience leading a team of developers. * Deep understanding of WordPress core, including its architecture, hooks, and APIs. * Strong PHP programming skills. * Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. * Experience with version control systems such as Git. * Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development. * Experience with WordPress performance optimization. * Experience with WordPress security best practices. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Experience with Agile development methodologies. * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
