Our client is a boutique digital marketing agency specializing in paid media across platforms like Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn. They design targeted ad strategies, manage tracking, create compelling content, optimize eCommerce feeds, and provide data-driven performance reports.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Front-End WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in translating UI/UX designs into functional, responsive, and visually appealing WordPress websites. You’ll work closely with designers and content managers to deliver high-quality user experiences while ensuring sites are fast, secure, and optimized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and templates based on design mockups (Figma, XD, Sketch, etc.)
• Convert PSD, Figma, or HTML/CSS prototypes into fully functional WordPress pages.
• Ensure websites are responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible.
• Optimize front-end performance for speed, SEO, and best practices.
• Implement and customize plugins while maintaining code quality and security.
• Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues across devices and browsers.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in WordPress development.

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of experience working with WordPress.
• This is an on-site position based in Guadalajara, Mexico.
• Strong English required (for both internal collaboration and occasional client interaction).
• Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript is essential.
• Strong experience with WordPress theme development and customization.
• Familiarity with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.)
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Understanding of SEO best practices for front-end code.
• Basic knowledge of PHP and WordPress template hierarchy.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
