Womenswear RTW Freelance Fabric Manager / Fabric Sourcer

Role Overview Magda Butrym is looking for a Freelance Fabric Manager/Sourcer to support our creative team in sourcing and selecting fabrics that align with our seasonal mood-boards and collection needs. Key Responsibilities * Working closely with the Creative Director and design studio to understand the seasonal mood and material direction. * Sourcing fabrics that match our creative vision, aesthetic, and technical requirements. * Coordination with fabric suppliers to request samples, prices, and lead times. * Managing the fabric library, ensuring it's organized and up-to-date. * Maintaining strong relationships with fabric suppliers. * Negotiating fabric prices and ensuring timely delivery. * Tracking fabric consumption and managing fabric inventory. * Supporting the team in fabric-related tasks, such as preparing fabric boards and presentations. Qualifications * Proven experience in fabric sourcing and management within the fashion industry, specifically womenswear RTW. * Strong knowledge of fabric construction, properties, and performance. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail. * Experience with sustainable and innovative fabrics is a plus.
