The Diakonie Rosenheim has been standing for value-oriented social work in all of Oberbayern for decades. Aufgaben

We are looking for an engaged Controller (m/w/d) to join us at the earliest possible time, who will develop, shape, and establish new structures together with us in full-time. You are a business administrator (or comparable) – and want to make your work meaningful? You value a meaningful working context and want to use your numerical affinity to make a genuine contribution to creating and securing suitable framework conditions and financing social offers? You are flexible, open to new things, bring your own ideas, and want to actively participate? You are willing to take responsibility in a socially relevant area?

In this responsible position, you will significantly contribute to securing and further developing the economic basis of our social work. In doing so, you will assume a central interface function between business departments, accounting, administration, and personnel department.

To your tasks belong:

  • Preparation and analysis of financial calculations, remuneration calculations, as well as grant and subsidy applications
  • Further development of internal cost accounting and control
  • Support in budget planning and settlements with cost centers
  • Closely coordinated communication and alignment with central accounting, administration, personnel department, and responsible business departments
  • Participation in operational decision-making processes through economic analyses and calculations

Qualification

  • Completed degree in business administration (Master's or Bachelor's degree with the willingness to take up a Master's program), ideally with a focus on controlling or accounting
  • Relevant professional experience in controlling or cost accounting, preferably in the social or non-profit sector
  • Knowledge of grant, subsidy, and remuneration systems is advantageous
  • Outstanding analytical skills and structured, self-employed working style and comprehensive thinking
  • High intercultural and communicative competence as well as team and conflict management skills
  • Communication strength, teamwork, and confident appearance
  • Identification with our values (dignity of the human being, charity, neighborly love, justice, tolerance) and professional ethical principles of social work
