Business Informatics Specialist in AI Consulting (Customer Contact) (m/f/d)

• large retailers in a corporate environment

As part of our AI Service Contracts, we maintain and manage our clients' productive AI applications. Our domain is applied AI systems for:

• Location Intelligence
• stable operation of AI systems in our clients' daily operations
• continuous training

Your Role

As a Business Informatics Specialist in AI Consulting, you will take on the technical and organizational responsibility for our delivery team in the AI Services area.

You will ensure that all clients receive exactly the service that has been contractually agreed upon – completely, correctly, and with high quality.

You will not build AI systems yourself, but rather ensure that:

• the existing systems and processes are adhered to
• your team delivers the services cleanly
• problems are identified early and escalated to the right parties (e.g., AI Engineers)

In special cases, career starters may also be considered, provided that you can demonstrate the fundamental qualification through internships, part-time jobs, and study content.

Tasks

• Ensure that all new AI Service clients are onboarded smoothly
• Ensure that all service components recorded in the contract/service package are fulfilled completely and 100% correctly
• Ensure that all client inquiries (email / ticket / calls) are answered promptly and reliably
• Ensure that our testimonial/review KPIs are achieved (e.g., number of references)
• Ensure that our clients are satisfied with the ongoing AI services
• Process and resolve possible client complaints in a structured manner
• Answer technical inquiries from the delivery team (AI Services, processes, contracts)
• Monitor that the defined processes and standards in fulfillment are consistently adhered to
• Keep an eye on KPIs in fulfillment and initiate corrective measures in case of deviations
• Close exchange with management as well as AI Engineers/Business Development regarding improvements or problems

Qualifications

Technical Qualification (AI & Domain Know-how)

• Experience in consulting companies in the mid-market or corporate environment, ideally in industry, hosting/software companies, large retail
• Strong understanding of applied AI systems, especially in one or more of the following areas:
• continuous training of AI models (e.g., LLM tuning, retraining/update processes, data pipelines from client systems)
• Location Intelligence / location-based evaluations
• Operation and monitoring of productive AI systems (e.g., workflows, stability, performance, data quality)
• You can discuss technical matters with AI Engineers at an equal level and at the same time explain them comprehensibly to non-experts (management, specialist departments)
• You are aware of typical challenges in the ongoing operation of AI systems (e.g., data changes, model drift, user acceptance) and can address them clearly in customer dialogue
• You have very good presentation skills, including with Office applications, Claude Design, Thinkcell, and you adhere 100% precisely to our corporate design
• Very good German and English skills (Unicert C1 or C2)

Important:

The technical conception and construction of new AI systems are the responsibility of our AI Engineers / IT roles. Your responsibility lies in operation, service quality, and the leadership of the delivery team.

On-site days: This is a role with mandatory on-site presence. There is no possibility for home office.

Working language: All our clients expect perfect expression in German as the working language. Internally, you will sometimes speak English.

Note: We use AI-supported systems and Google Gemini as a processor (with data center in Frankfurt) in the application process.
