Wiring Harness DRE

We are seeking a skilled Design Release Engineer (DRE) – Low Voltage Wiring Harness to support the design, development, and release of vehicle wiring harness systems. The DRE will be responsible for managing harness design, engineering changes, validation activities, and supplier coordination throughout the vehicle development lifecycle. This role works closely with cross-functional teams including Packaging, Electrical Architecture, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to ensure robust harness designs are developed and released in accordance with company standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate should have experience in wiring harness design, electrical systems, and manufacturing processes. In addition, the DRE will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, and industry-specific standards. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
