Tasks

• Introduction of Distribution Layer and Aggregation in the DMZ network infrastructure
• Replacement and renewal of switches in the DMZ
• Renewal of Internet switches
• Support for the renewal of load balancers
• Review of network infrastructure at Filmhaus
• Review of Office IT at Filmhaus
• Planning and implementation of various small-scale measures in the network environment
• Planning and implementation of a new network infrastructure
• Preparation of configuration for Distribution Router, Aggregation Switches, and FS Switches
• Planning and preparation of connecting new Distribution Routers to Core Routers
• Planning of a possible interruption-free migration of existing networks to new systems
• Accompaniment of commissioning
• Maintenance of documentation (including drawings and systems like Cisco Prime, QIP, Spectrum, Sysmon)

Qualification

• Proven expertise in the mentioned task areas
• Product-specific certifications for the above-mentioned topics are desired, such as CCNP Network
• Successful completion of a degree in information technology or similar technical/natural sciences or IT-specific vocational training (e.g. Fachinformatiker Systemintegration)
• At least 5 years of proven experience in operating network infrastructures
• Fundamental knowledge of network technologies such as IPv4, OSPF, STP, BFD, and LACP
• Experience in handling network and management tools, especially Spectrum, Command, Sysmon, Cisco Prime, and QIP
• Practical experience with products and solutions from manufacturers Cisco, FNT, and Alcatel
• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking
• Ability to read and understand English technical texts
• Knowledge of applying common project management methods and adapting them to internal structures
• Ability to convey technical information orally and in writing
• Very good knowledge of planning and tracking projects to create network infrastructures, including cost and effort estimation
