Job Description Mission As an Electrical Utility Distribution Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team in beautiful Kelowna, BC and will be involved in a range of projects and tasks related to telecommunication and electrical utility distribution infrastructure. They may also support emerging projects in other areas such as telecommunications, industrial electrical, substations, and renewable energy. Primary responsibilities Help perform design tasks for projects such as transmission line routing, substation design, and electrical distribution system planning. This may include tasks such as: • Conducting site visits to assess existing infrastructure and identify potential improvements • Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations • Providing technical support and guidance to project teams • Participating in project meetings and providing input on project progress and issues. Secondary responsibilities • Assist in the development of project proposals and business cases • Support the development of project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation • Assist in the coordination of project activities with other teams and stakeholders • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.
