Berton Vineyards is well know Australian winery that started at the Eden Valley Vineyard, in High Eden, South Australia. High Eden is a subregion of Eden Valley, situated in the Barossa Valley.
Berton Vineyards makes making premium red and white wines such as our signature Black Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Durif, Vermentino, Fiano, Chardonnay, etc.

Berton Vineyards is now looking for an experienced Winery Cellar Hand to join their team.

The right candidate will be responsible for:

Receive, crush and press grapes;
Monitor fermentation from temperature to sugar level;
Rack, fill and clean barrels;
Clean and sanitise equipment and cellar area;
Assist with bottling, labelling and packing wine;
Maintaining records and logs of winemaking processes;
Supporting winemakers with various tasks as needed;

About you:

At least 1 year of experience as Winery Cellar Hand;
Strong attention to detail;
Understanding fermentation, grape varieties, and winemaking equipment;
Ability to operate and maintain machinery and equipment;
Maintaining accurate logs of processes and inventory;
Strong communications skills;

Job type: Permanent/full-time
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
