WHS Coordinator

Key job responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing effective safety policies and procedures; • Conducting regular safety inspections and audits; • Identifying and mitigating potential hazards; • Providing training and guidance to employees on safety best practices; • Collaborating with other departments to ensure a safe working environment; • Maintaining accurate records of safety incidents and near-misses; • Staying up-to-date with changing regulations and industry standards. Additional responsibilities may include: • Supporting the implementation of Amazon's global safety initiatives; • Participating in cross-functional teams to drive process improvements; • Providing input on safety-related projects and initiatives; • Maintaining a positive and professional attitude, with a focus on customer obsession and ownership. What we're looking for: • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field; • 2+ years of experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment; • Strong understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
