What if your work is directly visible in the Frisian infrastructure? As a Work Preparer Civil Engineering/Construction, you will work from Joure on recognizable renovation and asset management projects for bridges, locks, and infrastructural objects. Think of projects for the Province of Fryslân and Rijkswaterstaat, including work on the Lemmer – Delfzijl route. Make it possible

As a Work Preparer, you are the connecting link between design, preparation, and execution. You ensure that projects are technically, organizationally, and administratively well-prepared, so that colleagues in the field can work efficiently and safely. You will work on diverse projects for municipalities, provincial clients, and Rijkswaterstaat. The scope varies from smaller assignments to integrated projects worth millions of euros, keeping your work varied and challenging.

• You will prepare projects within various contract forms, such as RAW and UAV-GC.
• You will draw up work plans in close collaboration with the site manager and other project team members.
• You will request quotes, select subcontractors and suppliers, and will be their main point of contact during the preparation phase.
• You will ensure that materials, equipment, and necessary information are available in a timely manner.
• You will monitor schedules, budgets, and progress and will identify potential bottlenecks in a timely manner.
• You will maintain contact with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues from other disciplines, such as mechanical engineering and electrical engineering.

Your team

Your base location is Joure, but you will also be found regularly at project locations in the North of the Netherlands. You are part of the Renovation business unit within BAM Infra Techniek & Asset Management. Together with colleagues, you will work on projects in the public space where technology, safety, sustainability, and accessibility come together.

Collaboration is central within the team. You will work closely with project organizers, site managers, engineers, and specialists from other disciplines. The atmosphere is open and collegial: you will be given trust, room for initiative, and ample opportunities for further development.

• A salary between € 4,096 and € 5,120 gross per 4 weeks, depending on your knowledge and experience, based on a full-time employment and excluding 8% holiday pay.

This is you

You like to have an overview, can easily switch between different tasks, and know what is needed to bring a project to execution in a well-prepared manner. You are proactive, structured, and solution-oriented. You feel at home in a technical project environment and enjoy working with different disciplines. Furthermore, you bring:

• Minimum MBO work and thinking level, preferably in the direction of infrastructure, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
• Preferably at least five years of experience as a work preparer within infra-related projects.
• Experience with projects for Rijkswaterstaat is a plus.
• Experience with drawing up work plans.
• Affinity with mechanical and electrical engineering work, given the close collaboration with these disciplines within the projects.
• Driver's license B.
• A good command of the Dutch language.
