Work Preparer
Job description
As a work preparer, you are responsible for the complete preparation of both new construction and renovation projects. You ensure that all processes run smoothly, from the initial quotation to the completion of the project. You work together with various departments, such as the project manager, supervisor, and the technical department.
- Drawing up work plans and schedules for both new construction and renovation projects;
- Requesting and comparing quotations for materials and subcontractors;
- Scheduling the necessary materials, personnel, and equipment;
- Drawing up and managing project documentation, such as technical drawings, reports, and cost price calculations;
- Monitoring the progress of the project, both in terms of time and budget, and promptly signaling deviations;
- Maintaining contact with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors;
- Supporting the project manager in the execution of the projects and guiding the team on the work floor;
- Ensuring compliance with safety requirements and quality standards.

If you want to start working as a work preparer, you must meet the following requirements:
- A completed education in the direction of construction technology (not a requirement):
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a work preparer, preferably in both new construction and renovation;
- Strong organizational skills and a hands-on mentality;
- Experience with planning and calculation software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, or other construction software);
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
- A customer-oriented attitude and the ability to collaborate well with internal and external parties;
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and safety instructions.
