Job Preparer

What will you do:

As a job preparer, you play a central role in the successful preparation and execution of technical projects. You ensure that all activities are technically, organizationally, and logistically well-aligned, so that execution can proceed smoothly and safely.

Your activities include:

• Preparing, planning, and coordinating technical activities within projects;
• Establishing, monitoring, and adjusting project and detailed schedules;
• Assembling, checking, and managing work packages, work instructions, and material lists;
• Liaising with engineers, fitters, suppliers, and subcontractors;
• Supporting project management during the execution phase;
• Identifying bottlenecks in planning, technology, or execution and proactively thinking along in solutions;
• Ensuring clear handover to execution and monitoring progress and quality;
• Contributing to improvements in work processes and project preparation.

Requirements:

What do you bring?

• You have completed an MBO or HBO education in Electrical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering, or have demonstrable technical knowledge gained through work experience;
• You have experience as a job preparer, OR you are currently working in a technical role (e.g., fitter, engineer, or technician) and want to make the transition to job preparation;
• You feel at home in a technical project environment and have an affinity for multidisciplinary projects within installation technology, industry, or utilities;
• Knowledge of instrumentation is a clear plus, but we find motivation and eagerness to learn just as important;
• You work in a structured and planned manner, maintain an overview, and communicate clearly with colleagues, suppliers, and clients;
• You are proactive, think along in solutions, and enjoy playing a connecting role between preparation and execution.
