Work Preparer Energy Transition | Groningen - Eemshaven

What if you could work on projects in the energy transition at one of the most important energy locations in the Netherlands? Projects that contribute to a reliable and future-proof energy supply. As a Work Preparer at BAM, you will work for an organization that is active in making the Netherlands more sustainable, connected, and stronger.
You will work on projects in the Groningen region, specifically in the Eemshaven and Emmen areas. The projects are location-bound; the actual work takes place outdoors, at the project site. It is practical if you live centrally within the work area.
You will be part of a project team of approximately 20 to 30 colleagues. Within the team, we work together on the commercial aspects, acquisition, and production of projects. Communication lines are short, and you will collaborate closely with colleagues from various disciplines within the project.

Make it possible

From schedules, purchase specifications, progress reports, and work plans to the final handover: projects within the energy transition require careful preparation and tight technical coordination. Within the project team, you will be responsible for the architectural work preparation. You will coordinate with colleagues, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring they have the correct architectural drawings, specifications, and work methods.
You will identify risks in a timely manner, monitor material quantities and costs, and ensure realistic phasing of the work. In doing so, you will take safety, quality, planning, and budget into account. With your preparation, you contribute to manageable execution and a predictable project flow.

Your team

You will work on architectural projects within the energy transition that we carry out for clients including TenneT, Liander, and Enexis. These projects focus on the construction and expansion of substations, distribution stations, and high- and medium-voltage stations, often in and around Eemshaven.
BAM is responsible for the architectural part, such as foundations, buildings, structures, and associated facilities, in conjunction with the technical installations. Your work directly contributes to the infrastructure needed to reliably transport and distribute sustainable energy.

You recognize yourself in this

You are eager to work on projects within the energy transition and to further develop yourself in the preparation and realization of architectural work. You are good at planning and organizing and maintain an overview of complex projects. With your analytical skills and down-to-earth perspective, you make well-founded and realistic decisions.
And furthermore:
• you possess an MBO or HBO diploma in an architectural direction;
• you have work experience in an architectural project environment, for example in utility construction or civil concrete construction;
• you have knowledge of architectural structures, execution methods, and phasing plans.
