Work Preparer Electrical Engineering Building Services
Job description
Building a sustainable tomorrow
What if, as an Electrical Engineering Work Preparer, you contribute to smart and sustainable building services projects in the Randstad, such as in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam, and The Hague? At BAM Bouw en Techniek – Projecten, you ensure that technology, planning, and execution seamlessly align. You work on large projects with impact and develop yourself in an environment where collaboration and safety are paramount.
Make it possible
As an Electrical Engineering Work Preparer, you are an indispensable link within our projects. You think ahead, bring structure, and ensure that everything is ready for successful execution. Based on the contract schedule, you create preparation schedules and coordinate them with engineers, (construction) partners, and the execution team. This way, you directly contribute to the smooth running of complex building services projects. Your tasks include:
- Creating, managing, monitoring, and adjusting short- and long-term schedules using appropriate planning methodologies.
- Monitoring safety rules, project frameworks, and laws and regulations to ensure progress and quality.
- Creating work plans according to applicable procedures and the management system.
- Setting up and managing the document management system to ensure clear information flows.
- Supporting the project leader in the preparation and progress of the project.
Your team
You will work at BAM Bouw en Techniek – Projecten, where we build smart buildings and technical eye-catchers. Think of projects like the A-pier at Schiphol and the new headquarters of ABN AMRO. Together with colleagues from Electrical Engineering and Architecture, you work integrally on sustainable and future-proof solutions. Our projects are technically complex and often 'high end'. You will work on a large project in the Randstad, always within a reasonable driving distance of your home. You will join a learning organization where technology, digitalization, and collaboration are central.
We offer you
- A salary between € 3,710 and € 5,780 gross per 4 weeks (x13) (based on 40 hours, excluding 8% holiday pay), depending on your knowledge and experience.
- An indefinite contract immediately.
- Good employment conditions according to the collective labor agreement for the Technical Installation Industry, including 25 vacation days and 13 rostered days off per calendar year.
- An electric lease car or a mobility budget.
- A fully equipped home office, laptop, and iPhone.
- Ample development opportunities through BAM Learning and additional courses and training in consultation.
- Social involvement within the BAM family, such as working group meetings, technical lunches, unit meetings, a family day, and a Christmas package.
- Nice extras such as an average of 40% discount on sports subscriptions and benefits on private insurance and Microsoft Office.
This is you
You are an experienced work preparer who maintains an overview, thinks ahead, and stands firm. You work independently but also actively seek collaboration within the project team.
- You have a higher professional education (HBO) work and thinking level, preferably with a technical education in electrical engineering.
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a work preparer in building services.
- You organize tightly, work structurally, and switch quickly between different tasks.
- You take responsibility and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Do you recognize yourself in this? Then we would love to meet you! If you don't recognize yourself in everything, but the position appeals to you, we encourage you to apply. Enthusiasm and the will to grow are at least as important to us as a complete list of diplomas and certificates.
