Make it happen

As an Electrical Engineering Preparer, you will work on projects at Schiphol. The execution team will know exactly what needs to be done, how to execute it, and how to do it safely. Additionally, the environment will be informed of the work, actions will be coordinated with colleagues, the client, and subcontractors, and there will be no surprises during execution. A selection of your tasks includes:

• You will have regular consultations with the project leader(s). Based on project data, you will discuss the best approach for the respective project.
• You will be responsible for the (detail) engineering from our suppliers, simple technical calculations, support in elaborating drawings, preparing material lists, and preparing revision data.
• You will ensure that materials are ordered on time.
• You will also monitor compliance with applicable (safety) regulations and SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) procedures. This means you are also responsible for forming the technical file, correctly submitting the Information Delivery Specifications (ILS), and transferring this in a technical file to the client and/or your colleagues.

You will join BAM Bouw en Techniek - Gebouwservices Schiphol, a team of over 200 colleagues who manage crucial zones such as Terminal 3, Schiphol Plaza, fire stations, and parking garages. A salary between €3,600 and €5,780 gross per month (for a 40-hour work week)

• 25 vacation days and 13 rostered days off per year

• Completed MBO or HBO (vocational or higher professional education) degree in Electrical Engineering
• Structured and open work attitude

• Knowledge of laws and regulations
