As an Energy Transition Work Preparer at BAM Infra Civiel, you will work on the expansion of the electricity grid at one of the most important energy locations in the Netherlands: the Eemshaven. Thanks to your preparation, substations and high-voltage sites will be realized safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.

You will work on projects in the Groningen region, with a strong focus on Eemshaven and Emmen. Because you will collaborate closely with colleagues at the project location, it is advantageous if you live centrally in this region.

A successful energy project begins with good preparation. You ensure that all involved parties have the right information to get started safely and efficiently.

From schedules, procurement specifications, progress reports, and work plans to completion: you are responsible for the civil engineering work preparation of our projects. You will coordinate daily with colleagues, site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring everyone works with up-to-date drawings, clear specifications, and the correct work methods.

Furthermore, you will keep track of material quantities, costs, and schedules. You will identify risks in a timely manner, contribute to practical solutions, and ensure realistic phasing of the work. Throughout this process, you will continuously focus on safety, quality, budget, and progress.

You are accustomed to working with different disciplines and can maintain an overview, even when multiple tasks are running concurrently.

Your team

You will work on civil engineering projects within the energy transition for clients such as TenneT, Liander, and Enexis. Together, we ensure that the electricity grid is ready for the future.

The projects focus on the construction and expansion of substations, distribution substations, and high- and medium-voltage substations, primarily in and around the Eemshaven. BAM is responsible for the complete civil engineering aspect: foundations, buildings, concrete structures, and all associated civil facilities required for the technical installations.

You will be part of a project team of approximately 20 to 30 colleagues. Within the team, we work closely together on the preparation, procurement, and realization of projects. Communication lines are short, colleagues help each other move forward, and your contribution directly makes a difference to the success of the project.

• A salary between € 4,000 and € 7,000 gross per month (based on 40 hours);

You maintain an overview, think ahead, and enjoy collaborating with different disciplines. You are analytical, work in a structured manner, and can translate technical issues into good preparation.

Whether you already have extensive experience or want to further develop yourself within the energy transition: at BAM, you will get the space to grow and make an impact.

And furthermore:

• You have an MBO or HBO diploma in a civil engineering direction;
• You have work experience within a civil engineering project environment, for example in utility construction or civil concrete construction;
• You have knowledge of civil structures, execution methods, and phasing plans.
