As a Work Preparer at BAM Infra Civiel, you will contribute to the expansion and reinforcement of the national high-voltage grid within the multi-year collaboration between BAM and TenneT.

In the coming years, hundreds of kilometers of new high-voltage connections will be laid and existing lines reinforced to prepare the Netherlands for the energy transition. Thanks to your preparation, these projects can be carried out safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.

Because the projects take place all over the Netherlands, you will work with colleagues at different locations and will regularly be present at project sites in the field.

Make it possible

A successful line project begins with good preparation. You ensure that all involved parties have the correct information, materials, and documents to get started safely and efficiently.

From schedules, work methods, purchasing specifications, and progress reports to the final handover: you are responsible for the construction work preparation of our projects. You will support activities such as laying temporary access roads, realizing and reinforcing mast foundations, and other civil engineering facilities required for the construction and expansion of high-voltage connections.

You will coordinate daily with site managers, project leaders, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients. You will ensure that everyone works with up-to-date drawings, clear specifications, and the correct execution methods.

Additionally, you will monitor material quantities, costs, schedules, and progress. You will identify risks early on, contribute to smart solutions, and participate in the safe and efficient execution of the work. You will continuously focus on quality, safety, sustainability, and budget.

You are accustomed to working with different disciplines and know how to maintain an overview, even when multiple projects are running simultaneously.

Your team

You will work on large line infrastructure projects for grid operator TenneT. Together, we contribute to one of the largest infrastructural tasks in the Netherlands: expanding the electricity grid to enable the energy transition.

Within the multi-year framework agreement, we work on projects spread throughout the Netherlands. The work primarily focuses on realizing temporary access roads to mast locations, installing and reinforcing mast foundations, and other civil engineering work necessary for new and existing high-voltage connections.

You will be part of a project team of approximately 20 to 30 colleagues. Together, you will work on the preparation, procurement, and realization of projects. Communication lines are short, colleagues support each other, and your contribution will directly impact the success of the projects and the acceleration of the energy transition in the Netherlands.

• A salary between €4,000 and €7,000 gross per month (based on 40 hours);

Whether you already have extensive experience or want to further develop yourself within the energy transition: at BAM, you will have the space to grow and make an impact.

And furthermore:

• you have an MBO or HBO diploma in a construction or civil engineering direction;
• you have work experience within a construction project environment, for example in utility construction or civil concrete construction;
• you have knowledge of construction structures, execution methodologies, and phasing plans.
