Construction Preparatory Engineer

For a renowned contractor in Amsterdam, we are looking for a preparatory engineer who enjoys working on challenging renovation and restoration projects, where quality, craftsmanship, and collaboration are paramount.
As a preparatory engineer, you are the link between preparation and execution. You ensure that projects are optimally prepared so that execution can proceed efficiently and according to schedule. You work closely with project leaders, supervisors, suppliers, and subcontractors and are involved from the preparation phase up to the handover.
Your tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Drawing up and monitoring schedules;
- Purchasing materials and requesting and comparing quotes;
- Drawing up work and purchasing schedules;
- Handling the technical preparation of renovation and restoration projects;
- Identifying bottlenecks and proposing suitable solutions;
- Maintaining contact with suppliers, subcontractors, and other involved parties;
- Monitoring progress, quality, costs, and delivery times;
- Supporting the project leader throughout the entire construction process.

- An excellent salary between €4,500 and €6,000 gross per month, depending on experience;
- Prospect of a permanent contract;
- 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days (in accordance with the collective labor agreement);

You are an organized and decisive preparatory engineer who maintains an overview, thinks ahead, and enjoys collaborating. In addition, you possess:
- A completed MBO or HBO education in Construction;
- At least 3 years of experience as a preparatory engineer in renovation, restoration, or maintenance;
- Experience with BIM, AutoCAD and/or other relevant software is a plus;
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude;
- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and relevant laws and regulations;
- Excellent command of the Dutch language;
- Driver's license B.
