Work Preparer

You are an important link between what has been conceived in theory and how you convey this to the execution. Would you like to be closely involved in this and are you a true connector?

What you will do

In the preparation phase, as a Work Preparer at Heddes Bouw & Ontwikkeling in Hoorn, you will provide support for our large, high-quality construction projects. In consultation with the project leader, you will conduct a project analysis. You are responsible for, among other things, the planning and the creation and checking of 3D production drawings. You will also prepare overviews of additional and less work and independently create work estimates. You will ensure that execution is optimally supported and guarantee the timely delivery of equipment, goods, and services.

We work closely with external parties such as advisors, (permanent) partners, subcontractors, and suppliers. You connect the different parties and ensure good coordination of the work. The control lies in your hands, and you manage the process optimally. Do you enjoy, for example, looking at other departments, such as planning preparation or purchasing? Or do you have other suggestions? We are open to your ideas, we'd love them!

You naturally won't fulfill this great job alone. You will have a great team around you of fellow (senior) work preparers, a project leader, and of course the site managers and our tradespeople. The involvement with the construction site is significant, and you will therefore be found there regularly. What you bring

• Completed vocational (MBO) and/or higher professional (HBO) education in Construction and at least 4 years of work experience in a similar role within (utility) residential construction;

• You have knowledge of execution methodologies, construction law, and building regulations;

• You are excellent at monitoring progress, managing drawings, and complete data provision, a team player who dares and seeks opportunities to achieve the best result together;

• A creative colleague who works in a customer-oriented and efficient manner!
