Job description
Nice to know (you)
- No day is the same at Schiphol, and as an electrical engineer, do you like a bit of excitement? Then step into the dynamic world of aviation at Schiphol!
- In the Asset Management department, we work day and night on electrical installations on runways, aircraft stands, and terminals.
- As soon as you indicate that you want to develop yourself further, we will make this possible and encourage you.
Connecting your world
As a Responsible Person, you will join the Low Voltage or High Voltage team. You will ensure that our main contractor can safely work on the installations, acting as the essential link between daily operations and the executing party performing work on our assets. How you will achieve this exactly? That's up to you. We trust your ability to find a solution for every problem. You will utilize your talents by:
- Ensuring that main contractors can work safely on low and high voltage installations within the applicable safety frameworks (BEI/NEN).
- Directing and supervising contractors in the execution of maintenance on low and high voltage assets.
- Reviewing and assessing submitted work plans with a focus on risks, safety, and impact on business operations.
Colleague Martijn: "I find high voltage to be the most interesting subfield within electrical engineering. This is because you encounter various situations and problems that can be solved in different ways. Especially within an environment as rapidly changing as Schiphol." Curious about colleagues?
