Student Assistants and Auxiliary Staff (m/f/d) to support our team in Open Social Work - Winter Emergency Shelter Evas Haltestelle - from October 2026 to April 2027.

What tasks await you with us?

• Operation of the winter emergency shelter for women within the framework of Berlin's cold weather assistance

• Admission and registration of new visitors as well as care until the next morning

• Coordination of laundry and shower appointments, as well as bed allocation

• Coordination of food preparation and clean-up, and cleaning tasks

• De-escalation of conflicts, crisis intervention

• Documentation and creation of minutes

• Referral to the daytime social workers for counseling needs

• Participation in regular team meetings and training opportunities

• Handover to the social pedagogical specialists in the morning

What characterizes you?

• You are available at least four nights a month from 6 PM to 8 AM

• Interest in working with homeless women, possibly with prior experience

• Ability to work independently, sense of responsibility, and commitment

• Willingness to work at night, on weekends, and on public holidays

• Willingness to cover shifts as needed

• Proof of infection protection training according to §§ 42, 43 IfSG ("Red Card")

• If you wish to work with us as a student assistant (m/f/d), we require a current enrollment certificate
