Working Student Software Development & Applied AI (m/f/d)

Your Role

Are you studying Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a related field and want to do more than just assist during your studies, but rather practically apply your skills? Have you already implemented your own projects and are you interested in how AI is used in software development?

As a working student, you will support our team in customer projects and in the development of our own AI tools, taking on your own tasks.

Our interdisciplinary team combines business and development know-how and supports clients: from conception and strategy through project management to implementation.

Responsibilities

Your Tasks

• Support in the development of backend services and data pipelines in Python
• Implementation of frontend components and internal tools with TypeScript and React
• Work with relational databases: SQL queries, data models, and data preparation
• Prototyping with LLM APIs and AI agents, e.g., for automations for clients or our team
• Participation in testing, documentation, and code reviews
• After onboarding: independent sub-tasks in customer projects

Qualifications

Your Profile

• Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a related field
• Good fundamentals in Python and initial experience with TypeScript and React
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Own projects beyond your studies (e.g., hobby tool, bot, web app)
• Interest in AI and initial practical experience with AI models or LLM APIs
• Basic business understanding or interest in it
• Very good German and good English skills, spoken and written
• 15–20 hours per week during the semester, more is welcome during lecture-free periods
