Working Student: Social Media / Content Creation

Hey! We are vly – an innovative FoodTech startup from Berlin that is revolutionizing the food industry. Our goal: Healthy, plant-based milk alternatives that are not only good for you but also for our planet. After years of research, we have developed products that contain significantly less sugar and more protein, have won awards, and are available throughout Germany – such as our milk alternatives made from pea protein and the very first yogurt made from fava bean protein. To get even closer to our community, we need you!

Your Mission: As a working student in Social Media, you will create real content impact for the vly brand. In close collaboration with our Social Media Manager and the E-Commerce & Marketing Team, you will support both organic content and performance ads.

Your Profile:

• Hands-on Content Creation: You will develop creative ideas together with the Social Media Team, stand in front of the camera, and record your own content (focus on IG Reels & TikTok).

• Editing & Post-Production: You will edit your shot videos independently with CapCut.

• Format & Graphic Creation: You will create supplementary visual assets with Canva and use modern AI tools to accelerate your workflow.

• Trend Scouting & Testing: Social media is your passion. You follow current trends daily and actively identify viral formats for our social media presence and enjoy implementing them directly in front of the camera.

• Content Scaling & Assets: In collaboration with the Performance Team, you will shoot and edit performance ads and create new hooks for our target audiences.

• Work Experience: You have gained initial, demonstrable experience in creating social media content and have your own account.

• Education: You are studying in the field of Marketing, Design, Communication & Media Studies, or equivalent fields and are still enrolled for at least 1 year.

• Shooting & Cutting Skills: You know how to use a smartphone for good shots (lighting, framing) and master the fast editing of short videos (e.g., CapCut).

• On-Camera Presence & Personality: You enjoy being in front of the camera yourself, act naturally and approachable, and enjoy personally embodying our brand with your enthusiastic personality.

• Sense for Social Media & Aesthetics: You have a great passion for social media (especially for Instagram & TikTok), a feel for digital trends, and an eye for aesthetics and visual composition.

• Cultural Fit: You are passionate about a health-oriented food industry, feel comfortable in an ambitious scale-up culture, and practice open and proactive communication.

• Language: You have very good German and good English skills at C1 level.

• Availability: You are available for 15-20 hours/week.

• Framework Conditions: Your home base is Berlin or the surrounding area. For close exchange, joint sparring sessions, and team dynamics, you will be with us in the office for at least 50% of your working time per week – you will work flexibly for the remaining time.
