We are looking for a student/trainee in the field of Quality Assurance (QA) & Device Operations VR with Gaming Focus and Gaming Experience

Tasks

• Preset VR devices (especially Meta Quest) and VR software for customers, configure and test these. Ensure that all software-, firmware- and content-stages are fully up-to-date.
• Set a Quality-Assurance-checklist as the final control instance before shipping and develop this continuously further
• Pack VR equipment for national and international customers, label and send it, and ensure reliable and punctual delivery
• Manage our VR hardware inventory, including headsets, controllers, cables, chargers, and packaging materials
• Contribute actively to improving our hardware setup, logistics processes, and QA standards based on real usage and feedback
• Identify and document bugs, hardware problems or inconsistencies in usability using structured QA processes and customer feedback

Requirements

• You are studying Game Design, Computer Science, Media Informatics or a similar field of study
• You play games and have an eye for good level design or intuitive controls
• Experience with VR games is a big plus
• Interest in Usability Testing, Gamification and/or QA processes
• Eigenverantwortliches and structured work
• Working in our Cologne office
• Very good German and very good English
