Working Student: Public Sector Consulting / Project Management

As a working student at IMAP, you will support our consultants in diverse organizational development projects and gain exciting insights into shaping future-proof organizations in the public sector. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Project Management. You will take on responsible tasks in client projects in the areas of project planning, steering, and implementation and work closely with our consultants.
• Preparation and Follow-up of Trainings & Workshops. You will support us in preparing, coordinating, and implementing workshops and trainings for our clients. You will also create engaging presentations.
• Offer Preparation. You will support our consultants by proofreading offers and reports.
• Further Development of the Business Area. You will conduct research on current market developments.

• Experience Consulting Up Close. You will learn how projects are structured, workshops are designed, and clients are professionally supported.
• Develop Project Management Skills. You will expand your project work skills.
• Strengthen Methodological Competence. You will work with common tools and methods from consulting and gain insights into how they are applied in practice.
• Expand Communication Skills. You will gain insights into working with various stakeholders and further develop your communication skills.
• Work Creatively. You will improve your skills in creating engaging presentations, as well as training and workshop materials.
• Grow Personally. Through feedback and team exchange, you will further develop your strengths and gain confidence in your working methods.
• Real Responsibility. You will strengthen your ability to work independently, develop your own ideas, and contribute them.

• Connecting Theory and Practice. You will be a student for at least 1 more year in the field of (Work and Organizational) Psychology, Economics, Social Sciences, Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources, or similar, and can commit 16-20 hours per week during the semester.
• Enthusiasm for Organizational Development and Consulting. You have a strong interest in organizational development and the consulting industry.
• Graphical Talent. You have a good eye for creating graphical content and enjoy developing engaging training and workshop materials (e.g., flip charts, PowerPoints).
• Sense of Responsibility. You take full responsibility for your tasks and have a hands-on mentality.
