Student Assistant: Project Management Podcast

STRIVE is for everyone who thinks about economy and has the goal to make more women in economy visible and tell exciting economic stories from a female perspective. Besides the print edition, you will find at STRIVE also Masterclasses, local events, further education opportunities in our Academy and a network called Powerhouse. We are also planning to relaunch two podcasts soon.

We are therefore looking for an immediate student assistant: project management podcast for our publishing house in Hamburg. You will accompany everything that happens around the podcasts, from the first coordination over organization to concrete implementation.

Tasks

• You accompany the setup and implementation of our podcast formats and support the development of ideas into concrete episodes.
• You keep track of timings, to-dos, and next steps and ensure that processes are well planned and implemented.
• You support coordination with speakers, internal discussions, and external partners and take over initial communication independently.
• You research guests, competitors, target groups, and relevant topics and lead concrete recommendations from this.
• You think about the operational implementation, for example, preparation, recording, editing, hosting, uploading, and publication.
• You maintain overviews, documentation, and simple production plans and ensure that nothing gets lost in daily business.
• You support making podcasts visible, for example, through social media, marketing ideas, assets, and accompanying communication.
• You bring in ideas on how we can set up processes around podcast production, organization, and marketing practically and efficiently.

Qualification

• You are studying for example economics, communications science, media, psychology or something similar. What's more important is that you have a desire to implement things and take responsibility.
• You bring first experience or at least a good understanding of podcast tools, processes, and formats.
• You have an interest in building a podcast not only content-wise but also operationally.
• You work structured and like it when plans, timings, and to-dos are well set up.
• You communicate clearly and friendly and can coordinate with different people.
• You think practically, get involved, and find good solutions for smaller operational tasks.
• You have an interest in HR, career, leadership, and conversations with exciting personalities.
