Student Intern / Practitioner (m/w/d) Product Testing & AI Automation

PLACED is a technology company from Berlin-Mitte. We develop KI software for job placement agencies that want to better manage the sales of their candidates. Our product helps teams make concrete sales opportunities by matching candidate profiles with suitable job openings, target companies, contact persons, and prepared pitches.

We are looking for you as a student intern or practitioner in the field of Product Testing & AI Automation. You will work directly with the founding team and the product team to systematically test new product functions, data flows, and KI-based workflows, document errors, and build internal automations for testing and business processes.

The role is suitable for you if you enjoy working deeply in AI software, are very precise in testing, and have enough business understanding to recognize whether a feature really works in the daily lives of our users and customers.

Aufgaben

Product Testing: You test new PLACED functions in realistic workflows: from candidate profiles over search logic and KI agents to lead lists, CRM transfers, and exports.

QA and Error Documentation: You plan and conduct manual product tests, inspect output quality, and document bugs so that Product and Engineering can work with them immediately.

KI Output Check: You evaluate KI- and LLM-based results on professional quality, consistency, data logic, hallucinations, and practical usability in the sales of candidates.

Automations Build: You build internal automations using no-code/low-code tools, APIs, webhooks, browser automation, or LLM agents.

Process Improvement: You analyze recurring operational tasks and identify which tests, checks, or work steps can be sensibly automated.

Teamwork: You work closely with the founding team, Product, and Operations together and bring concrete improvement suggestions forward.

Qualification

You have already gained some experience in product testing, QA, software testing, or product-near operations testing.

You speak fluent German and can document precisely in writing.

You understand professional English well enough to use English product, tool, API, and model documentation.

You are studying in an AI-, Product- or Business-related field, ideally at the intersection of technology and economy, such as business informatics, data/AI, business administration with a tech focus, product management, industrial engineering, or a similar field.

You have experience building automations, for example, using Make, Zapier, n8n, Airtable, APIs, webhooks, or comparable tools.

You have already worked practically with agent AI, LLM systems, prompting, tool use, structured outputs, or KI-based workflows.

You work structured, recognize uncertainties quickly, and can build reproducible tests.

You are eager not only to test technically but also to understand whether a workflow is really helpful for users and customers.
