Working Student: PR & External Communications (all genders)

Are you looking for a PR job in a startup with real impact and a lot of responsibility from day one?

As a working student in PR & External Communications, you will take on complete in-house PR work – from topic planning and journalist contacts to press releases.

Your mission at Foodji:

• You will be involved from the very beginning in building our in-house PR: Topic planning and core messages will be developed together with you.

• Contacts with journalists in HR/B2B/DACH will be gradually built, maintained, and documented.

• Storylines, subject lines, FAQs, as well as image and fact packages, will be created in the team – including sending pitches and follow-ups.

• Press releases will be jointly developed: Text, quotes, fact-checking, approvals, and distribution.

• The press distribution list will be continuously expanded and kept up-to-date.

• Our B2B LinkedIn channel will thrive on your input: Editorial plan, postings, community management, and reporting.

• Press reviews and mentions will be analyzed, and learnings derived together.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

What truly matters to us: Mindset, energy, and the desire to become really good – no matter your background. We will teach you everything else.

• Enrolled student (e.g., Communications, Media, PR, Marketing, Business Administration)

• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken

• Confident writing style and a passion for precise, target-group-oriented communication

• Structured, reliable way of working with a good sense of time and priorities

• Proficient in using Google Workspace/Microsoft Office

• First practical experience in PR/Communications/Marketing (e.g., working student, internship, university projects)

• Hands-on mindset and team spirit

• Openness to new tools (e.g., Docs, Slides, Spreadsheets, LinkedIn)
