Job description

Why Oviva?

At Oviva, we pursue the mission of making sustainable, personalized, and clinically effective care accessible to everyone, while we build Europe's leading AI-powered platform for the treatment of chronic diseases. Our digital programs support people in managing weight-related conditions. In doing so, we focus on what matters most: improving health, strengthening self-confidence, and increasing quality of life.

To date, we have supported over a million people in Great Britain, Switzerland, and Germany. Behind our mission stands a dedicated team operating in four countries, including our hub in Poland. Every conversation, every coaching session, and every line of code brings us closer to a healthier future.

The Position
As a working student in the People Experience Team, you will support our People Experience Team on-site in our office in Potsdam with diverse administrative tasks as well as daily office management for 10 hours per week, ideally split over two days. Since you will work closely with the on-site team and be a central point of contact in the office, very good German language skills at C1 level are mandatory. In this role, you will gain valuable insights into the entire employee lifecycle as well as global projects within the People Team. You will actively contribute to making everyday office life run smoothly, supporting your colleagues, and organizing internal processes and documentation as best as possible to create an all-around positive employee experience together.

Your Tasks:

  • Administrative & Office Support: You will take care of daily office operations, process mail, order office supplies, coordinate room bookings, and assist with visitor inquiries on-site in Potsdam.

  • Employee Support: You will answer inquiries via our People Portal, Freshdesk, or by email and support the onboarding of new team members for a successful start.

  • Systems & Documentation: You will maintain master HR data in systems like HiBob and support the organization of contracts and HR documents.

  • Project Involvement: You will actively contribute to global People Experience projects by supporting the team with research and administrative tasks.

Your Profile:

  • Language Skills: Fluent German language skills (at least C1 level) in speaking and writing, as well as good English language skills.

  • On-site Presence: Reliable commitment for 10 hours per week (ideally split over two days) in our office in Potsdam.

  • Work Ethic: A structured, careful, and detail-oriented approach.

  • Communication: Strong communication skills and enjoyment of empathetic interaction with colleagues.

  • IT Affinity: Proficient use of systems such as Google Workspace, HiBob, or the willingness to quickly learn them.

  • Flexibility: Ability to organize multiple tasks in parallel and to adapt flexibly to changing priorities.

  • Motivation: Strong willingness to learn and the motivation to actively contribute to the team's success.

  • Student Status: You are actively enrolled at a university (the position is designed as a working student role).

What Oviva Offers You

  • Impact with Purpose: You will be part of a dedicated team revolutionizing healthcare for people with obesity and type 2 diabetes.

  • Dynamic Culture: An environment where collaboration, creativity, and change are encouraged.

  • Attractive Benefits: Competitive salary, flexible working models, and personal development opportunities.
