Working Student:in Operations (m/f/d)

StoryMachine is the Berlin-based agency for strategic storytelling since 2017. We make brands, personalities and political institutions visible – journalistically precise, data-driven and designed for every channel.

Now we are taking the next step: With StoryMachine Analytics, we are building an independent software unit – a LinkedIn analytics app for C-level and executives, which is already live and has first paying customers. The goal is the spin-off as an independent company.

You will support the development of StoryMachine Analytics operationally and workdirectly with the Entrepreneur in Residence, take on real tasks and gain insight into the development of a software unit from the inside.

StoryMachine Analytics:

➡️ Operations Support – You support the EiR in day-to-day business: customer onboarding, communication, documentation and coordination with the external development team.

➡️ Customer Service – You are the point of contact for incoming inquiries, maintain customer contact and help to ensure a smooth user experience.

➡️ Market & Research – You observe competitors, research potential customers and partnerships, and prepare the basis for decisions.

✅ Study – You are studying Business Administration, Business Informatics, Humanities, Psychology or a comparable field – ideally from the 3rd semester onwards.

✅ Organizational Talent – You keep an overview, work in a structured manner, and do not lose sight of the big picture even when dealing with several parallel tasks.

✅ Initiative – You do not wait for instructions, but ask questions, contribute ideas, and get things done.

✅ Language Skills – You speak German and English fluently.

⭐ Real Insight into Startup Development – You will see from the inside how a software unit is scaled from scratch – not from a textbook, but live.

⭐ Direct Collaboration – You work closely with the EiR and the founders – no intermediate supervisor, no long approval processes.
