Responsibilities

Take responsibility, contribute your ideas, and actively shape international congress projects.

As a working student in the Online Team, you will work closely with our project managers and support them in planning, managing, and implementing digital congress projects. You will accompany our projects from the initial idea through technical and organizational preparation to execution on-site at some of the largest scientific congresses worldwide.

From the very beginning, you will take on responsibility, work on concrete tasks, and learn step-by-step how international congresses are professionally planned and implemented.

For us, this is not just about short-term support during your studies. We want to get to know you, develop you, and offer you the prospect of an entry as a permanent project manager in our team.

This is part of your daily routine:

Shape Projects: You will support our team in planning and implementing digital platform and SaaS projects – and will take on your own task packages early on, which you will increasingly manage independently until go-live.

Use AI Sensibly: You will work on AI-powered features and new digital solutions. We work AI-first and give you the space to try out and use modern tools and contribute your own ideas.

Accompany Client Projects: You will support the management of our clients, prepare project structures, and work in ongoing project business – thus learning how requirements turn into functioning digital solutions.

Bring Teams Together: You will work at the interface between development, UX/Design, Support, Sales, and external partners – coordinating topics, consolidating information, and reliably driving projects forward.

Experience Congresses Live: You will be on-site at selected international congresses and support live operations – whether it's check-in, badge printing, or digital services. This way, you'll directly see how months of preparation turn into a functioning event.

Work with Modern Tools: You will use project and collaboration tools such as Asana, Jira, and Microsoft 365, keep tasks and progress transparent, and ensure clear processes with the team.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• Enrolled student – the field of study doesn't matter
• Interest in event management, ideally with a focus on SaaS platforms, online products, or web services
• Proficient use of digital tools for planning, documentation, and communication
• Wanderlust – you want to get out and experience events live

What we expect:

A strong CV is a plus – but your attitude, your drive, and your courage to take responsibility also count for us.

• Good communication skills in German and English
• High self-organization and structured way of working, even in dynamic project phases
• Result-orientation, sense of responsibility, and problem-solving skills
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and international client support
• Willingness to travel within Germany and Europe
• 20 hours/week during term time, more is welcome during semester breaks
