Aufgaben

Take responsibility, bring your ideas in, and shape international congress projects actively with.

As a work student in the online team, you will work closely with our project managers and support them in planning, controlling, and implementing digital congress projects. You will accompany our projects from the initial idea to the technical and organizational preparation until the on-site execution at some of the largest scientific conferences worldwide.

You will take responsibility from the start, work on concrete tasks, and learn step by step how international congresses are professionally planned and implemented.

This is not just about short-term support during your studies. We want to get to know you, develop you, and enable you to have a perspective as a permanent project manager in our team.

This is part of your daily routine:

Shape projects: You will support our team in planning and implementing digital platform and SaaS projects – and take over early task packages that you will increasingly manage independently until go-live.

Use AI sensibly: You will work on AI-supported features and new digital solutions. We work AI-first, giving you space to test modern tools, use them, and bring in your own ideas.

Accompany customer projects: You will support our customers, prepare project structures, and work in ongoing project business – and learn how requirements become functional digital solutions.

Bring teams together: You will work at the interface between development, UX/design, support, sales, and external partners – coordinate topics, bring information together, and drive projects forward reliably.

Experience congresses live: You will be on-site at selected international conferences and support in live operations – whether check-in, badge printing, or digital services. So you'll see directly how months of preparation become a functioning event.

Work with modern tools: You use project and collaboration tools like Asana, Jira, and Microsoft 365, keep tasks and progress transparent, and ensure clear workflows with the team.

Qualification

This is what we wish for:

• Einschriebene:r student:in – which field of study plays no role
• Interest in event management, ideally with reference to SaaS platforms, online products, or web services
• Safe handling of digital tools for planning, documentation, and communication
• Travel enthusiasm – you want to get out and experience events live

A strong CV is a plus – but what matters most to us is your attitude, drive, and willingness to take responsibility.

• Good communication skills in German and English
• High self-organization and structured working style, even in dynamic project phases

• Travel readiness within Germany and Europe
• 20 hours/week during the semester, more gladly in the semester breaks
