Job description
We are digital people and German startups organize two top events of the digital scene every year: the Digital People Summit and the Startupland Conference – with over 1,000 participants from all around the world. At our place, it's about networking, knowledge transfer, and the people behind digital innovations.
You love creative content, have a good sense for trends, and want to shape digital topics on social media? Then this is the right thing for you.
Tasks
What you'll really be working on
- Visual Content: You support in creating graphics, carousels, short videos, and reels (Tools like Figma / Adobe Premiere / Audition are a plus – what's important is your eye for the visual)
- Text & Research: You develop texts for posts, stories, and short videos and research trends, topics, and formats
- Community: You help with answering comments & DMs and bind followers actively (e.g. surveys, Q&As, small actions)
- Campaigns & Formats: You support in planning and implementing campaigns and bring your own ideas for new formats into play
- Event Communication: You create content around our events (e.g. workshop/highlight speaker, program teaser, recaps, behind-the-scenes)

- Kennenlern-Call (30 Min, Google Meet)
- Mini-task (later): short content plan for the application of a selected DL Summit workshop (3–5 ideas for posts/stories/reels including format, hook/key message & rough timing) – ca. 30–45 minutes It's not about perfection, but about your ideas, prioritization, and your sense for target group & tone.
