Work Student (m/w/d) - Service Robotics / Technical Service

The mR Mobile Robots GmbH is since 2009 pioneer in the integration of collaborative robotics. We develop and implement complex automation solutions for production logistics.

In addition, we have been selling under our own brand mROB·SYSTEMS service and cleaning robots for simple transport tasks and facility cleaning in various industries since 2025. Our systems take over tasks that are often no longer available in the daily operation of industry, administration, trade or care facilities. So we relieve personnel and create free spaces for priority tasks.

We're looking for you as work student (m/w/d) with core tasks in technical service, as well as additional support in the diverse daily business, at the earliest possible time.

Aufgaben

Your core tasks:

• Preliminary preparation, configuration and functional testing of transport and cleaning robots
• Support for our service technicians during deliveries and commissioning
• Participation in maintenance, inspection and repair work
• Maintenance and updating of service and device data in internal systems
• Communication with partners and customers
• Processing of support requests via our ticket portal
• Translation and proofreading of technical documentation (English ⇆ German)
• Support in the warehouse process (goods receipt/issue, spare parts management)

• Optimization and extension of technical documentation
• Market and competitive analysis in the field of service and cleaning robots
• Technical support for sales (e.g. preparation and review of technical information/requirements)

Qualification

Your profile:

• You are a Bachelor student in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical study program.
• You bring Motivation and willingness to learn new technical topics in the field of service robotics
• You are fluent in German in writing and speaking (min. C2) and can express yourself also in English (min. B2)
• You have a sufficient grasp of MS Office / Microsoft 365
• You possess an outstanding technical understanding and interest in robotics & automation
• You work structured and reliably and are able to complete tasks independently after familiarization
• You are mobil and have a driver's license of class B
• You bring travel readiness for occasional customer visits with you
