Student Assistant (m/w/d) Communication & Organisation

The Federal Association of App-based Taxi and Car Rental Companies represents the interests of app-mediated taxi and car rental companies and their drivers in Germany. As a digitally networked, flexible, and demand-oriented mobility service, it complements the public transportation system, relieves inner cities from private car traffic, and creates genuine alternatives to personal cars, especially in rural areas.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an engaged student assistant (m/w/d) in the field of Communication & Organisational (approx. 20 hours per week). Help us give the industry a strong voice – factually, solution-oriented, and clearly – for modern statutory frameworks and fair competition.

Tasks

• Editorial care of our homepage and member communication (including setting up and maintaining WhatsApp info channels) as well as writing contributions
• Maintenance of our social media channels (especially LinkedIn) as part of overall communication
• Organisational support for projects, events, maintenance of distributors and campaigns
• Monitoring and research on industry trends, themes, and political developments

Qualification

• Ongoing studies and first practical experience in communication, press/public relations, project coordination or association work – ideally in the field of politics, agency, or trade union
• Basic understanding of politics and sense for societal debates; interest in mobility, digitalization, and transportation policy
• Structured, reliable working style and organizational talent – you keep track even with multiple parallel tasks
• German language skills at native speaker level and confident expression; sense for editorial work and image language; experience with social media formats or short videos (e.g. TikTok, Instagram Reels) is advantageous
• Independent, solution-oriented working style and enthusiasm to shape processes and communication formats actively
