Working Student (m/f/d) IT Workplace Management & Deployment

CargoBeamer is growing, and so is our digital work environment. To ensure our employees can work reliably, securely, and efficiently, you will support our IT team in Workplace Management.
You will gain practical insight into modern IT workplace support and help provide new end devices, coordinate procurement processes, and further develop standardized deployment processes. You will work closely with our employees, external IT service providers, and various internal teams.

Your tasks:

• Support with the installation, configuration, and deployment of Windows end devices for new employees as part of onboarding
• Involvement in standardized deployment and rollout processes
• Maintenance of asset, license, and device data in the relevant systems
• Documentation of IT workplaces as well as support with the procurement, inventory, and distribution of notebooks, monitors, smartphones, and other IT equipment
• Coordination of returns and repairs
• Support with processing IT service requests and tickets
• Involvement in the optimization and standardization of IT workplace processes
• Creation and maintenance of short instructions, checklists, and how-tos
• Coordination with employees, departments, purchasing, and external IT partners

• Enrolled student, ideally in (Business) Informatics, IT Management, Economics, or a comparable degree program
• Ideally, at least one more year until graduation
• You can support us long-term with approximately 15-20 hours per week (hybrid, once a week on-site in Leipzig at the office)
• Interest in IT workplaces, terminal workplaces, hardware, software, and digital work processes
• A structured, meticulous, and reliable way of working
• Enjoy documenting technical matters understandably
• Proficient use of common Microsoft Office applications
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• High willingness to learn and enjoyment of collaboration with different teams

• Initial experience with Windows clients, Microsoft 365, or endpoint management
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, or comparable solutions
• Initial exposure to IT service management or ticketing systems
• Experience with inventory, device management, or procurement processes
• Basic understanding of data protection and IT security
