Working Student: E-commerce / Marketing DACH (m/f/d)

Tony's Chocolonely exists to make chocolate free from exploitation and illegal child labor. And we don't just mean our chocolate, but every chocolate. Worldwide. That's why we're looking for you: a working student in E-commerce / Marketing (m/f/d) for our team in Hamburg.

You will support our DACH E-commerce and Marketing team in continuously developing our online presence and offering our customers an outstanding shopping experience. From maintaining and optimizing our Shopify store, to content creation, marketing activations, and analyses: you will actively participate in implementing our e-commerce and marketing strategy.

In addition, you will support our team in customer service, handling inquiries, and operational projects. This will give you a comprehensive insight into the areas of E-commerce, digital marketing, and customer experience, and you will get to know Tony's from the inside while actively shaping our processes and projects.

What are your tasks?

• E-commerce Operations: You will assist with the maintenance and optimization of our Shopify-based chocolate shop. This includes product and content updates, improving the customer journey, and ensuring a first-class online shopping experience.

• Content & Marketing Activities: You will support our team in creating content for various channels, take on copywriting tasks, and participate in marketing campaigns, activations, and digital projects.

• Marketing & Campaign Activations: You will work on the implementation of marketing measures and campaigns and assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other commercial activities.

• B2B Sales: Support the B2B sales process for Tony's customizable products. This includes researching potential leads, creating presentations to convince B2B customers, ensuring the perfect online visibility of our portfolio, and sending chocolate samples.

• Customer Service: You will ensure that our (business) customers receive first-class support via email and phone and will support them with a positive attitude for all questions regarding their chocolate order, so that Tony's remains their favorite chocolate brand.

• Complaint Management: You will turn dissatisfied (business) customers into brand ambassadors by reliably and sympathetically handling complaints – whether for delayed orders or product quality issues, which you will resolve fairly and courteously.

• Analyses: You will support the analysis of sales figures, campaign results, and e-commerce-relevant metrics to gain valuable insights into customer behavior and business development.

• You are enrolled as a student and ideally have 20 hours per week to support our chocolate mission.

• You are studying Business Administration, Business Economics, Marketing E-commerce, Business Informatics, or Communication Sciences and have an affinity for E-commerce and digital.

• Basic knowledge and/or initial professional experience in online marketing, e-commerce, or digital sales.

• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

• Plus point: proficient in Adobe (Illustrator + InDesign) and an eye for design.

• You speak fluent German to communicate with our customers in the DACH region, and you are also comfortable in English – as that is our company language at Tony's.

• You are able to demonstrate a positive attitude and convincing demeanor when dealing with potential customer complaints.

• You complete tasks proactively and on time, and possess an independent and structured way of working.

• As you are an important ambassador for Tony's brand and mission and represent our culture and values externally at every touchpoint with customers, you wholeheartedly believe in our mission and live our core values.

• As you will be working from our Hamburg office at least 2 days a week, you ideally live in the greater Hamburg area.

• The role is fixed-term for 12 months.
