Your Position

As a Work Student in Data Analytics at 1KOMMA5°, you will support the teams Controlling and Business Intelligence in building a central data architecture, which takes in, transforms, and analyzes data from our global operational and financial business. You will help generate actionable insights for financial planning, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making processes throughout the entire company.

Main Tasks

• BUILDING AND MAINTAINING END-TO-END-DATAPIPELINES, ensuring the availability of operational and financial data
• SUPPORTING THE CONTROLLING-TEAM IN AUTOMATED REPORTS, FORECAST-DATA SETS, AND KPI TRACKING
• DEVELOPING ANALYSES, DASHBOARDS, AND REPORTS IN LOOKER FOR MONITORING FINANCIAL AND OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE
• ENSURING THE SUCCESS OF DATA INTEGRITY AND RELIABILITY IN FINANCIAL-DATA SETS
• SUPPORTING AUTOMATION AND OPTIMIZATION OF REPORTING PROCESSES FOR BUDGETING, FORECASTING, AND VARIANCE ANALYSIS
• EXPLORING AND APPLYING KI-GESTÜTZTE DATENANALYSE, IMPROVING FORECASTS, ANOMALY DETECTION, AND BUSINESS INSIGHTS

Your Profile

• You are still at least two semesters enrolled in a German university in the field of DATA SCIENCE, INFORMATICS, Wirtschaftsinformatik or a comparable program with a data analytical focus and can support us 15-20 hours per week.
• You feel comfortable working with SQL AND PYTHON, ideally also with GIT.
• You have first-hand experience working with LARGE DATA SETS (e.g., data ingestion, transformation, or data modeling).
• Ideal would be to have already worked with BI-TOOLS (e.g., LOOKER, POWER BI, OR TABLEAU)
• First experiences with KI OR MACHINE LEARNING (e.g., predictive modeling, forecasting, or using KI libraries or tools) are a big plus.
• INTEREST IN FINANCE, CONTROLLING, OR BUSINESS PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS is an advantage.
• You are KOMMUNIKATIONSSTARK and work well with TEAM MEMBERS AND VARIOUS STAKEHOLDERS.
• You bring a PROACTIVE WORKSTYLE and enjoy working in a DYNAMIC, FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT.
• You possess very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
