Student Assistant (m/w/d) Consulting - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

We offer as a software and consulting company, Inway Systems, industry-specific ERP and CRM solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics. When introducing the ERP and CRM system, we provide both process optimization and analysis, as well as connected add-ons, modules, and industry solutions.

With our experienced team of over 110 employees at locations in Neu-Ulm, Cologne, Chemnitz, Berlin, Hamburg, and Kiel, we are close to our customers!

Tasks

• Participation in customer projects around D365 F&O (Finance, Supply Chain, Projects, Production), e.g., during Fit-Gap analyses, process documentation, and preparation of workshops.
• System configuration & testing: Support for parameterization, creation of test cases, execution of functional tests, and test protocols.
• Data & reporting: Contribution to data migrations (templates, validation), support for evaluations and reports (e.g., Power BI).
• Tools & methods: Maintenance of project artifacts in LCS (Lifecycle Services) and Azure DevOps, setting up demo environments, creating training materials.
• Research & best practices: Preparation of features, release notes, and optimization recommendations for the team and our customers.
• Ad-hoc support for consultants (e.g., preparation of demos, prototyping, documentation).

Qualification

• Enrolled students (Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, etc.).
• Interest in ERP systems and business processes; first contacts with D365 F&O (or Dynamics AX) are a plus, but not necessary.
• Analytical & structured: You work cleanly, document clearly, and enjoy the details.
• Communicative & team-oriented in German (at least B2) and English.
• Self-reliant working style and reliability; you bring 15-20 hours/week under your belt and have fun with consulting topics.
