M&A Analyst Intern

You want to dive into the world of M&A? We're looking for interns in M&A consulting who can support us. For the next possible start date, we're seeking work students*in in M&A consulting who will help us.

We do what? PEAKZONE is a specialized consulting boutique that accompanies medium-sized companies and conglomerates with company transactions. Currently, we are accompanying a growth-oriented defense conglomerate with its ambitious acquisition strategy.

Tasks

This is your role at our company:
You will work on a variety of tasks and be responsible for individual areas in projects. Every day brings new challenges:

• You support the creation of documents for C-level, business cases, and their presentation to our customers.
• You support our corporate customers in the context of investments, M&A projects, and due diligence.
• You are responsible for target scouting, identifying, and approaching acquisition targets for our customers.
• You lead market and sector analyses within your team to identify defense technology trends and investment activities.
• You present your results at the top management level of our customers.
• In special projects with the CEO, you develop PEAKZONE as an organization further.

Qualification

This is what you should bring:

• You are at the end of your studies in the field of Business / Management / Economics or a technical field and have gained first professional experiences - possibly - in the fields of M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance.
• You are motivated to immerse yourself deeply into a topic and become an expert.
• You have excellent analytical and conceptual skills and love presenting your results on slides.
• You work pragmatically and have a quick understanding.
• Ownership is important: you work solution-oriented, independently, and proactively.
• You have great interest in M&A and finance
• You present confidently and can receive feedback well and quickly implement it.
• You speak fluent English & German.
