Working Student Information Security Awareness & Automation

• exciting insights into the practice of information security, business continuity management, and compliance in an innovative software project house.

• a clearly defined task: You will build the formats with which we communicate information security and business continuity within the company – and automate the work behind it.

• your own topics with your own responsibility. You don't work on demand, but proactively contribute your own ideas.

• plan, support, and evaluate our awareness campaigns and BCM exercises: What was effective, what was ignored, what will we do differently next time?

• automate exactly this work: generate multiple formats from a specification with AI support, create German and English versions, and update content as soon as a policy or emergency plan changes.

• deliver and keep content up-to-date automatically – in the intranet, in Confluence, and in our onboarding packages. You will build the workflows for this using Jira, Confluence, and AI-supported tools.

• research current threat topics.

• maintain the evidence for our certifications according to ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and TISAX in your area and prepare it for audits – training records, exercise protocols, and tracking of lessons learned.

• support internal and external audits: compile evidence, record audit questions, and track the implementation of agreed-upon measures.

• primarily deal with organizational and communicative topics. Our contribution to security consists of concepts, texts, processes, and automation – the systems themselves are managed by our IT colleagues. If this side of information security, business continuity, and compliance appeals to you, then you are exactly right with us.

• ongoing studies, for example in IT Security Management, (Business/Media) Informatics, Security Management, Corporate Security Management, Risk & Security Management, Corporate Governance, Risk & Compliance, or similar with an IT focus.

• enjoy automating things – scripts, workflows, prompts.

• interest in information security and business continuity with a focus on organizational issues. Prior knowledge in ISO 27001, ISO 22301, or TISAX is not required.

• initiative and a structured, reliable way of working.

• very good German and good English skills.

• the willingness to work 16-20 hours per week, more if possible during university breaks.
